What to prepare (The Shore KK)
Get your unit ready for guests:

Renovation Status If you are still renovating, it is the best time to install fibre. The technician can work with your contractor to hide cables perfectly.

Lobby Registration The Shore has strict security. You (or your agent) must register the Maxis technician at the concierge desk upon arrival.

Power Access Ensure the electricity is turned on! We cannot activate the modem if the unit's power is not yet connected by SESB.
Installation Flow (KK City)
From empty unit to 5-star listing:

1) WhatsApp Check Send us your unit number. We check the backend system instantly.

2) Secure Slot We book the next available Sabah technician (usually 2-3 days).

3) Install Technician installs the modem. If you are not in KK, your renovator/agent can supervise.

4) Live WiFi is active. Update your Airbnb listing with "High Speed WiFi" immediately.

Is installation free?
Yes, standard installation is free. This includes the fibre cable run and the WiFi 6 router setup.
What if I sell the unit later?
You can transfer the Maxis Fibre line to the new owner (Transfer of Ownership) or relocate it to your own home anywhere in Malaysia.
