Owner setup

MBP79 or MBP109

Best when only one main line is needed. Neither plan supports share lines — choose between them based on data need (160GB vs 300GB+productivity).

Larger team route

MBP169 or MBP199

For bigger teams: MBP169 supports 4 users total (1 main + 3 share), MBP199 supports 6 users (1 main + 5 share) with unlimited quota on the main line.

About MBP199 Unlimited: The unlimited quota is a limited-time offer applying to both new sign-ups and existing MBP199 customers. It applies to the main line only (non-shareable) and is subject to Maxis Fair Usage Policy. The 5 share lines get their own quota allocation from the plan.
02 Business Solutions worth >RM650

Every Business Postpaid plan includes two business tools that normally cost extra

These two are the reason the monthly premium exists. The headline value is over RM650 — but the actual 2-year retail value of the tools is much larger. Businesses that use them well get far more than the price tag back.

Included with every MBP plan at no additional cost

Both tools come bundled with your Business Postpaid plan. Use them, or they simply sit there — but they are genuinely useful when your business grows past a single owner line.

Voice Go — Hunting Line (1700 & 0x)

Customers dial one business number. The call can ring up to 5 different receiving Maxis mobile numbers. Whoever picks up first, takes the call. Less missed business from unanswered lines.

Business eSMS

Send marketing and customer-update SMS to thousands of people directly from a laptop or desktop. Proven channel for promotions, reminders and SME customer comms.

03 Choose the right setup

Don’t just compare prices. Match the plan to how your business actually works.

After seeing the price ladder, the next step is simple: decide how many lines your company realistically needs — then pick the plan that unlocks the right share-line capacity.

1 user

Owner or single-line setup

Good for a business owner, partner, manager or one main admin line that handles most company calls and messaging. Neither MBP79 nor MBP109 supports share lines — so this is a single-line decision based on data needs.

  • MBP79 if data needs are light (160GB)
  • MBP109 if heavier use + productivity apps
  • Simple route without overbuilding early
5–6 users

Full team under one plan

For busier operations with more mobile reliance. MBP199 supports 6 users total (owner + 5 share lines) and gives the main owner line unlimited data.

  • MBP199 = owner + 5 share lines
  • Unlimited data on main line (FUP applies)
  • Best for operations-heavy businesses
Simple rule: if the business has only one user, MBP79 or MBP109 is enough. If there are 2+ users needing company mobile, start at MBP139 — the first plan where share lines unlock. Everything below RM139 is single-line only.
04 Real business examples

See real business setups, not just plan names

These examples help business owners recognise themselves quickly, and they also make it easier for staff to explain the page naturally.

Example 1

Boss only

A small business owner who mainly needs one stable company line for enquiries, WhatsApp, hotspot and follow-up. One user, no share line needed.

  • Best fit: MBP79 (light) or MBP109 (heavier data)
  • Good for owner-led businesses
  • Simple route without overbuilding early
Example 3

4-person active team

A business with owner + admin + 2 sales staff all using mobile lines for daily work. Each needs their own line but under one company account.

  • Best fit: MBP169 (1 main + 3 share)
  • Good for heavier daily usage
  • One company account, 4 active users
05 Share lines & team capacity

The real reason businesses pick MBP: one company account, multiple user lines

For many SMEs, the real question is not only "which plan is cheapest?" — it's how many users your business can cleanly support under a single company mobile account. Here is the authoritative breakdown of share-line capacity per plan.

What this means in practice

MBP139 is the team threshold

This is the single most important number on the page. Below MBP139, you're buying a single-user plan. At MBP139 and above, you're buying a team structure. Pick based on head count, not just data.

  • 1 user → MBP79 or MBP109
  • 2 users → MBP139
  • 3–4 users → MBP169
  • 5–6 users → MBP199
Share lines let staff have their own business mobile number under the company account — cleaner billing, cleaner communication, cleaner handover when someone leaves. This structure replaces the messy reality of staff using personal lines for work.
06 Real business benefits

Unified data, productivity apps, and business tools that save missed calls and real marketing spend

Most business pages stop at listing features. This section explains why each benefit matters in real operations.

Customer communication

Business eSMS

Send SMS marketing and customer updates directly from a laptop. Worth RM4,320 over 2 years. Included free.

  • Mass customer reach from desktop
  • Useful for promos, reminders, updates
  • Real marketing tool, not a throwaway
Daily business usage

Unlimited calls & SMS

For many SMEs, calls and SMS are still the primary channel. No limits on domestic voice and SMS across every MBP plan.

  • No call limit anxiety
  • Supports daily coordination
  • Useful for owners, sales, admin staff
Convergence bonus

Pair with Business Fibre / AirFibre

When an eligible MBP plan is paired with a supported Business Fibre or AirFibre setup, every MBP line gets unlimited mobile data through convergence.

  • Works for up to 8 MBP lines (with AirFibre)
  • Useful for field staff and travelling teams
  • Stronger total company setup

Note: if you terminate the MBP line under a converged offer, you lose access to unlimited mobile data.

07 Device & bundle routes

SIM-only, device contracts, or the iPhone multi-line bundle unique to MBP

Some businesses only need the SIM. Others want a full device and account refresh together. MBP supports three distinct routes — including a multi-line iPhone bundle that is only available on business plans.

Simpler route

SIM-only

Standalone plan with no device commitment. Useful when devices are already available or when flexibility matters more than device savings.

  • No contract lock-in on SIM-only
  • Good if devices are already available
  • Cleanest starting point
Device contract routes

1L1D or Zerolution

Two standard device contract structures — 24 or 36-month commitments, available from MBP48 (24-mth) or MBP79 (36-mth) and above.

  • 24 / 36-month 1L1D Device Contract
  • 24 / 36-month Device Zerolution Contract
  • Suitable when the team also needs device refresh
SIM-only has no contract. Device, Zerolution, BYOD or iPhone multi-line bundle routes carry contract terms — typically 24 or 36 months. Confirm the exact route and term before submission. Early termination charges = monthly commitment × remaining months.
08 How to apply

A simple sign-up flow from company details to active lines

Businesses move faster when they know what to prepare and what happens next.

Step 01

Share company details

Start with company name, BRN, contact details and business registration type (Sole Proprietor, Sdn Bhd, Berhad etc).

Step 02

Choose your setup

Decide: single line or team setup? SIM-only, device contract, or iPhone multi-line bundle? Port-in existing numbers?

Step 03

Prepare the documents

SSM company documents, authorised signatory ID, latest 3 months' bank statement, and LOA if a PIC is appointed.

Step 04

Submit and verify

Submission via mSell (biometric verification on signatory is mandatory) or Dealernet. Company checks before approval.

Step 05

Activate the business lines

Once approved, the business moves onto the chosen mobile setup with the right plan, share-line capacity and devices.

Documents needed: SSM documentation (Super Form or Form 9, 49, 57 / Section 58 / Form D), photocopy MyKad or passport of authorised signatory (front and back), latest 3 months' company bank statement with opening & closing balance, Letter of Authorisation if appointing a PIC (must be on company letterhead, not older than 3 months).

10 Frequently asked

Questions businesses usually ask before choosing Business Postpaid

Every MBP plan includes unified 5G/4G quota (sharable across team), unlimited domestic calls and SMS, plus Business Solutions worth over RM650 — specifically the Voice Go hunting line (worth RM2,400 over 2 years) and Business eSMS (worth RM4,320 over 2 years). MBP109 and above also include productivity data for selected business apps.
Unified data means your 5G and 4G quotas are combined into a single allocation — you don't have separate smaller buckets to manage. Whatever the plan allocates (160GB, 300GB, 480GB, 750GB, or Unlimited on MBP199) is usable on either network.
Productivity data is a separate quota that applies when you use eligible business apps — Microsoft 365, MS Teams, OneDrive, MS Outlook, Skype, WhatsApp, WeChat, Zoom, Deltapath, and Voice Connect. Usage on these apps does not consume your main quota first. If productivity data is exhausted, the apps continue on main quota. Available from MBP109 upwards (30GB / 40GB / 50GB).
MBP79 and MBP109 support no share lines — they are single-user plans. MBP139 adds 1 share line (2 users total). MBP169 adds 3 share lines (4 users total). MBP199 adds 5 share lines (6 users total). Share lines unlock only from MBP139 onwards — this is the threshold where the plan becomes team-capable.
It is unlimited for the main line only, and it is currently a limited-time offer subject to Maxis Fair Usage Policy. Importantly, the unlimited allocation is non-shareable — the 5 share lines on MBP199 get their own quota from the plan, they do not share the main line's unlimited data.
Yes — SIM-only is available and has no contract. Contracts apply when you go through Device, Zerolution, BYOD, or iPhone 2/3-line bundle routes. The iPhone multi-line bundle is unique to MBP and is not available on consumer postpaid plans.
If MBP is terminated under a converged offer (MBP + Fibre or MBP + AirFibre), you lose access to the unlimited mobile data that the convergence unlocks. For early termination during contract, charges apply: monthly commitment × remaining months.
Yes. Existing customers on older Maxis Business Postpaid plans (e.g., 68 / 98 / 108 / 128 / 158 / 188) can upgrade to the all-new MBP plans. If under contract, the existing contract tenure continues. Downgrading back to the older plans is not allowed.
