01 When this helps

This is for businesses that want to switch, but the current contract is the blocker

Many business owners already know they want a better setup, but the early termination bill makes them delay the move. Easy Switch exists for that situation.

Common problem

You want to switch, but the penalty feels painful

Your current provider contract may still have months left, so moving now feels expensive even if the business wants better value or better support.

  • Current contract not finished yet
  • Early termination cost slows the decision
  • Need a clearer way to move over
Better next step

Switch with a proper order

Start the Maxis Business Fibre application first, complete installation, then handle the old provider cancellation and claim.

  • Cleaner process
  • Less chance of switching too early
  • Easier to prepare the claim documents properly

03 How the switch works

Follow the right order so the switch is clearer and safer

The Easy Switch route only starts to make sense when the steps are done in the right order. This is the part many businesses want explained properly.

Step 01

Start the Maxis sign-up

Tell us your address, current provider situation, and the business plan you are considering.

Step 02

Submit the business fibre application

Your Maxis Business Fibre registration is submitted as the normal business application process.

Step 03

Wait for Maxis installation

Do not rush to cancel the old provider first. Let the new Maxis line go live properly.

Step 04

Terminate the old provider and pay the penalty

After Maxis is installed, close the old service and keep the bill plus payment proof.

Step 05

Claim through BizCare 1919

Share the last service bill and payment receipt so the Easy Switch claim can be processed.

Step 06

Receive the rebate on the Maxis account

The approved amount is knocked off against the monthly rate plan commitment, subject to the program terms.

Timing matters: after the Maxis Business Fibre service is installed and activated, the claim window shown in the program material is up to 90 days.
04 What to prepare

Prepare these first so the switch claim is less messy later

Businesses usually move faster when the right documents are ready before the old provider termination is done.

Good practice

What businesses should not rush

  • Do not terminate the old provider before Maxis is installed
  • Do not throw away the last bill or payment receipt
  • Do not wait too long after activation to start the claim
  • Do not assume every address should use the same solution
  • If fibre is not suitable, check Business AirFibre
