Switching from another fibre provider? Up to RM1,000 bill rebate with Maxis Easy Switch
For businesses in Sarawak

Still under contract? Switch your business fibre with up to RM1,000 in bill rebates

Maxis Easy Switch is the rebate program for businesses still tied to another fibre provider (OLO) who want to move to Maxis Business Fibre but are worried about early termination charges.

The rebate is applied against your Maxis monthly commitment after the new line is installed and the claim is submitted. This page explains the exact amounts, the claim window, the documents required, and the safe order to follow.

  • Up to RM1,000 rebate
  • Claim via BizCare 1919
  • 90-day deadline after activation
  • Install Maxis first, terminate OLO after
  • Documents required (see below)
90-day claim window After Maxis Business Fibre is installed & activated, you have up to 90 days to submit the Easy Switch claim. Submissions beyond 90 days will not be entertained.
Do not cancel your old provider too early The safer sequence is: sign up with Maxis → wait for installation → then terminate the old provider and submit the claim.
01 A quick definition first

What does "OLO" mean in the program name?

If you noticed the term "OLO" in the program name or on the page URL — here is what it actually means in plain terms.

OLO = Other Licensed Operator. It is the industry term for fibre broadband providers other than Maxis — most commonly Unifi (TM), Time, and Celcom. The Easy Switch program is specifically for business customers already signed up with one of these OLOs who still have an active contract and want to move over to Maxis Business Fibre without absorbing the full early-termination penalty themselves.
02 When this helps

This is for businesses that want to switch, but the current contract is the blocker

Many business owners already know they want a better setup, but the early termination bill makes them delay the move. Easy Switch exists for exactly that situation.

Common problem

You want to switch, but the penalty feels painful

Your current provider contract may still have months left, so moving now feels expensive even if the business wants better value or better support.

  • Current contract not finished yet
  • Early termination cost slows the decision
  • Need a clearer way to move over
Better next step

Switch in the correct sequence

Start the Maxis Business Fibre application first, complete installation, then handle the old provider cancellation and submit the rebate claim.

  • Cleaner process
  • Less chance of switching too early
  • Easier to prepare the claim documents properly
03 Rebate amounts

How much rebate applies when you switch to Maxis Business Fibre

The program supports all Maxis Business Fibre packages with bill rebates that help offset the early termination charge from your current fibre provider. The rebate is knocked off your Maxis monthly rate-plan commitment.

100Mbps

Entry business tier
RM500 Bill rebate (shared tier with 300Mbps)

Useful for lighter business environments that still want to move away from the current provider cleanly.

300Mbps

Growing business tier
RM500 Bill rebate (shared tier with 100Mbps)

Suitable when the business needs more headroom for staff devices, cloud usage, calls and daily operations.

1Gbps

Larger teams
RM1,000 Highest rebate tier

Best for heavier environments that want the strongest headroom and the highest rebate available under the program.

Important: Complete the Maxis Business Fibre installation first, then terminate the old provider and submit the claim with proof. Submissions are accepted up to 90 days after Maxis activation — anything after that will not be entertained. Terms and conditions apply.
04 How the switch works

The exact 7-step flow — in the right order, so nothing gets rejected

This is the official Easy Switch process via BizCare 1919. The order matters: skipping steps (especially terminating the old provider before Maxis is installed) is the most common reason claims get delayed or rejected.

Step 01

Sign up for Biz Fibre

Walk in or contact us. Tell us your address, current provider situation, and which Business Fibre plan fits.

Step 02

Submit application

Frontline submits the Business Fibre application per the standard (BAU) process.

Step 03

Maxis installed & activated

Wait for the new line to go live. Do not rush to cancel the old provider at this stage.

Step 04

Terminate OLO & pay penalty

Cancel the old provider, pay the early-termination penalty, and keep the bill plus payment receipt.

Step 05

Call BizCare 1919

Call to claim for Easy Switch and share the last service bill, payment receipt, and required documents.

Step 06

CSM raised to Billing

BizCare raises the case to the Billing & Dispute Team with your details and attachments.

Step 07

Rebate applied

The approved amount is knocked off your Maxis monthly rate-plan commitment. Completed.

05 What to prepare

Prepare these first so the claim goes through on the first try

Claims get delayed most often when one document is missing. The "screenshot of OLO portal on same installation" is a common gap — make sure you take it before you terminate.

Common mistakes

What businesses should not do

  • Do not terminate the old provider before Maxis is installed
  • Do not throw away the last bill or the penalty payment receipt
  • Do not forget to screenshot the OLO portal before cancelling
  • Do not wait more than 90 days after Maxis activation to claim
  • If fibre is not suitable, check Business AirFibre

07 Frequently asked

Questions businesses usually ask before switching

It is a bill-rebate program for business customers who are still attached to another fibre provider (OLO — Other Licensed Operator) and need to pay an early-termination penalty to switch. Maxis provides up to RM1,000 in bill rebates on Maxis Business Fibre, applied against your monthly rate-plan commitment.
The rebate depends on your Maxis Business Fibre plan: RM500 on 100Mbps or 300Mbps, RM700 on 500Mbps, and RM1,000 on 1Gbps. Subject to terms and conditions.
No — this is the most important rule. Complete the Maxis Business Fibre installation first. Only after the new line is live, terminate the old provider, pay the penalty, and keep the bill plus payment proof for the claim.
Call BizCare at 1919 after Maxis Business Fibre is installed and activated. Share the last service bill, penalty payment receipt, screenshot of the OLO portal on the same installation, plus your company name, BRN, Maxis account number and modem ID.
You have up to 90 days from the date Maxis Business Fibre is installed and activated. Submissions beyond 90 days will not be entertained — this is a hard deadline.
OLO stands for Other Licensed Operator — it means any fibre broadband provider other than Maxis. Common OLOs in Malaysia include Unifi (TM), Time, and Celcom.
Keep the last service bill from your old provider, proof of penalty payment (receipt), a screenshot of your old provider's portal showing the same installation address, and the Maxis account and modem details needed for the claim.
Then look at Maxis Business AirFibre instead. It is the more suitable option when fibre is unavailable or not the best first route for the premise.
